Aqua Ippan is a 'Shoot' em Up' / platformer game currently being developed by me, Division 六, and can be played by one or two player(s).

After retrieving an artifact buried at the bottom of a lake, student divers Itou and Yena find themselves being hunted by a local armed group called 'Vigilanti' looking to steal their treasure. Now the pair must escape the region and bring their artifact back to their school!

Aqua Ippan is heavily inspired by the Metal Slug series and pays homage to the 1995 prototype build of Metal Slug: SV-001 by reinventing ideas that were scrapped during its development.

New v0.1.5 Demo:
-Fixed the 'Set to Default' option in 'Controls Mapping' to correctly reset all mapped keys from both players.
-Made the launch screen and 'Controls Mapping' key names more consistent and easy to understand.


New v0.1.4 Demo:
-Double trouble: enemy mechas and the boss now have more HP when fighting them in 2-player mode!
-The Spray Kids now throw their spray cans at airborne soldiers instead of spraying them.
-Fixed a bug crashing the game when a player's score reached the top of the scoreboard.
-Fixed a soldier in the marketplace area not appearing on-screen.
-Slightly buffed the enemy mechas and boss' base HPs.
-Made the credits screen skippable by pressing the 'START' button.
-Other small fixes.


New v0.1.3 Demo:
-Fixed a bug preventing off-screen Vigilanti soldiers from running toward the players.
-Fixed a bug allowing players to destroy Argo-V planes before they're seen in the background.
-Fixed animations frame skips with the player characters.
-Uploaded 2 versions of the game on Itch.Io: Full Scale, allowing players to play the game stretched in 16:9, and Square Scale keeping the format 4:3 at any aspect ratio. This site contains the Square Scale version.


After years of working on it, I'm proud to finally release a full demo of Aqua Ippan!
To go along with it, I've also created this site for people interested to know more about the lore and concepts of the game.
Development is still underway, so stay tuned for that!
